1/2cup moong dal wash and keep aside with water for 1/2hr
2tbsp oil, few curry leaves, 1tsp gg paste
1 medium size onion slice cut
2green chillies slit cut
coriander and dill leaves finely chopped
1tsp each Turmeric, salt and chilli powder
In a pan add 2tbsp oil, few curry leaves and sliced onion and cook till the color changes to light brown then add 1tsp ginger garlic paste saute for a few mins till the raw smell goes. Then add 1tsp turmeric powder add the soaked dal along with 1tsp red chilly powder, 1-2green chilly slit, chopped dill leaves, salt, stir all ingredients well. Now add half cup water and let it cook till water dries check if the dal is cooked if not add a little more of water to it so that the dal is cooked well ones the water has dried and the dal is cooked sprinkle coriander leaves
